Beth Gamul
בֵּית גָּמוּל/beth-GAY-mul/
“House of the weaned, or camel-house”
☩Moabite City
Beth-gamul was a city in the 'plain country' or downs of Moab, listed among the cities upon which Jeremiah pronounced divine judgment. It is possibly identified with the ruins at Um el-Jemal, one of the deserted cities of the Hauran, a fine example of an ancient unwalled town with large open spaces and broad stone streets.
