Another name for Kiriath-jearim, the city from which David brought the ark to Jerusalem.

Baale of Judah (also called Kiriath-jearim, Kiriath-baal, and Baalah) was where the ark of the covenant remained for twenty years after the Philistines returned it. David gathered thirty thousand men and went to Baale to bring the ark to Jerusalem.
