☩Abimelech's Residence
Arumah was the place where Abimelech, the self-proclaimed king who ruled after killing seventy of his brothers, made his dwelling. It was near Shechem, from which Abimelech expelled Zebul. The location is identified with Khirbet el-Ormeh about 5 miles southeast of Shechem.
