The firstborn son of Gad and founder of the family of the Zephonites, also called Ziphion.

☩Identity

Zephon was the firstborn of Gad's seven sons. In Genesis his name appears as Ziphion, while in the census of Numbers he is called Zephon and his descendants are the Zephonites.
