Paruah was the father of Jehoshaphat, one of Solomon's twelve district governors responsible for provisioning the royal household.

Family

Paruah's son Jehoshaphat served as one of Solomon's twelve officers who provided food for the king and his household. Jehoshaphat was assigned to the territory of Issachar, where he was responsible for collecting provisions for one month of each year.
