Summary

Machnadebai was an Israelite of the family of Bani who divorced his foreign wife after the return from Babylonian exile.

Post-Exilic Reform

Machnadebai is listed among those who had married foreign women and who responded to Ezra's call to separate from them. He was among the 'sons of Bani,' appearing near the end of the extensive list of those who put away their foreign wives.
