Joelah was one of the two sons of Jeroham of Gedor who joined David's band at Ziklag while he was still a fugitive from Saul. He is listed among the brave Benjamite archers and warriors who defected to David and supported his rise to power. These warriors were skilled with both hands in using slings and shooting arrows.
