Jeziah was one of the sons of Parosh who had taken a foreign wife during the Babylonian exile and was required to put her away as part of Ezra's reform measures against intermarriage with pagans (Ezra 10:25). The name is probably a form of Izziah and means 'Yahweh sprinkles' or 'whom Jehovah unites.'
