Summary

The last named of the four sons of Ezra in the genealogy of Judah.

Identity

Jalon was the fourth son of Ezra (not the scribe), of the tribe of Judah, apparently from a family kindred with that of Caleb. His brothers were Jether, Mered, and Epher. Beyond his place in this genealogical list, nothing further is known of him.
