Hattil is listed among the descendants of 'Solomon's servants' (Ezra 2:57; Nehemiah 7:59), probably referring to the Gibeonite slaves dedicated to temple service. His name means 'waving' or 'wavering.' His descendants returned from Babylon before 536 BC.
