Hanniel son of Ephod represented the tribe of Manasseh among the leaders Moses appointed to divide Canaan (Numbers 34:23). His name means 'grace of God.' A different Hanniel (or Haniel) was a son of Ulla of Asher (1 Chronicles 7:39).
