Haggi was the second son of the patriarch Gad and founder of the family of Haggites.

Son of Gad

Haggi was the second of the seven sons born to Gad, one of the twelve sons of Jacob. His descendants formed a clan known as the Haggites, who were numbered among the tribes of Israel. The name Haggi, meaning "festive," is related to the Hebrew word for festival and shares its root with names like Haggai and Haggith.
