☩Post-Exilic Levites
Galal appears in the lists of Levites who dwelt in Jerusalem after the return from exile. One Galal was of the sons of Asaph, and another was a descendant of Jeduthun. These Levites served in the temple worship, continuing the musical and liturgical traditions established by David.
