Summary

A Levite musician, son of Heman, who served in the temple worship during David's reign.

Temple Musician

Bukkiah was one of the fourteen sons of Heman, the king's seer, who were appointed for the musical service in the house of the Lord. He and his sons and brethren formed the sixth division of the twenty-four courses of temple musicians, numbering twelve in all.
