The king of Sodom who was defeated by Chedorlaomer and later rescued by Abraham.

Battle of the Kings

Bera, king of Sodom, was one of five kings who rebelled against Chedorlaomer after serving him twelve years. In the resulting battle in the Valley of Siddim, Bera was defeated and fled. After Abraham rescued the captives, Bera offered Abraham the goods if he would return the people, but Abraham refused.
