Aspatha was one of the ten sons of Haman the Agagite, the enemy of the Jews. When the Jews defended themselves on the day Haman had designated for their destruction, they killed Haman's ten sons along with other enemies. The sons were later hanged on the gallows Haman had built for Mordecai.
