Summary

A grandson of Benjamin through Bela, whose descendants formed the family of Ardites.

☩Identity

Ard was a grandson of Benjamin through Bela. In Genesis 46:21 he appears as a son of Benjamin, but in Numbers 26:40 he is listed as a son of Bela. In 1 Chronicles 8:3, he is called Addar. His descendants were called Ardites.
