☩The Teaching
The Golden Rule appears in the Sermon on the Mount: 'All things therefore whatsoever ye would that men should do unto you, even so do ye also unto them: for this is the law and the prophets.' The positive formulation distinguishes it from similar negative statements in other traditions. Jesus presents it as the summary of the law and prophets.
