A border city of Ephraim, identified with modern Yanun southeast of Nablus.

Janohah was a place on the boundary of Ephraim, mentioned in Joshua 16:6-7. It has been identified with the village of Yanun, located about 12 miles southeast of Nablus (ancient Shechem), about two miles from Akrabeh. Northeast of Yanun is Khirbet Yanun, which may be the site of the original town.
