A Levitical town in western Manasseh, given to the Kohathites, also known as Ibleam.

Levitical City

Bileam was a town in the western half of Manasseh, assigned with its pasture-lands to the Kohathite Levites. It is the same place as Ibleam in Joshua 17:11, the name being a transposition of letters. It is identified with modern Bel'ameh, half a mile south of Jenin.
