☩Son of Abraham
Shuah was the last of six sons born to Abraham by his concubine Keturah after Sarah's death. Like his brothers, he was sent away from Isaac with gifts and settled in 'the east country.' His descendants may have given their name to a region, as Job's friend Bildad is called 'the Shuhite,' possibly indicating descent from Shuah.
