Summary
A Simeonite chief whose family's growth led to a migration to the valley of Gedor where they expelled the original inhabitants.
☩Identity
Joshah was the son of Amaziah and one of the chief princes of the tribe of Simeon. Along with other Simeonite leaders, the increase of his family prompted them to migrate to the valley of Gedor during the reign of Hezekiah, where they dispossessed the aboriginal Hamite inhabitants and settled in their place.
