A descendant of Judah whose sons are enumerated in the genealogies of 1 Chronicles.

Identity

Jehaleleel was a descendant of Judah, several of whose sons are enumerated in 1 Chronicles 4:16, although his own immediate parentage is not mentioned. The four men of the 'sons of Jehaleleel' are introduced abruptly into the genealogies of Judah, suggesting he was the head of a significant family within that tribe.
