Summary
Huppah was the head of the thirteenth of the twenty-four priestly courses established by David for service in the sanctuary.
☩Priestly Service
Huppah was assigned leadership of the thirteenth course in the division of priests that David organized for sanctuary service. These twenty-four courses rotated their duties in the Temple, with each course serving for a specified period. The system ensured orderly worship and distributed the privilege of service among all the priestly families descended from Aaron.
